Introductory Certificate in Financial and Management Accounting

Recording day-to-day transactions and producing basic management information. Your entry point if you're new to accountancy.

Stage 2 · FA2 · MA2

Intermediate Certificate in Financial and Management Accounting

Maintaining financial records to trial balance and managing costs, cash and short-term finance.

Stage 3 · BT · FMA · FFA

Your study plan

Six steps from first chapter to first-attempt pass

No guesswork about what to do next. The platform walks you through the same loop for every subject — learn, revise, test, repair, prove.

  1. 01

    Pick your subject

Open one of the seven FIA papers. Its study text, chapters and syllabus areas are already loaded in your library.

  2. 02

    Learn with the AI

Ask anything in plain English. You get an answer at your level, with worked examples and the chapter it came from.

  3. 03

    Lock it in with flashcards

Decks build themselves per topic and chapter. Spaced repetition keeps bringing back the cards you keep getting wrong.

  4. 04

    Sit CBE mock exams

    50 questions, 120 minutes, MCQ / multiple-response / number entry — auto-marked against the 50% pass mark.

  5. 05

    Fix your weak areas

Your syllabus-area breakdown shows exactly which topics cost you marks, and sends you back to those chapters.

  6. 06

Sit the real exam at 90%

When your readiness score clears 90%, you've already proven you can pass — book the exam with confidence.

Find and fix weak areas

Your marks tell us exactly which chapters to send you back to

Students rarely fail a whole paper — they fail three or four syllabus areas. After every mock exam and practice set you get a breakdown by syllabus area, and the weak ones are turned into work you can actually do.

  • Weak area detected

Accuracy drops in, say, 'Control accounts and reconciliations' — it's flagged the moment the attempt is marked.

  • Revision rebuilt around it

That chapter's flashcards resurface more often, and practice sets pull more questions from it.

  • Tutor explains it again, differently

Ask the AI for a second explanation with a worked example, right from the review screen.

  • Retest until it's green

Fresh questions each time, so you're proving understanding rather than remembering answers.

Don't book the exam on a feeling. Book it on a number.

Your readiness score per subject moves as you study. Below 60% you're still learning. Above 90% you have already passed this exam several times over — in practice conditions.

45%Still learning

Chapters unread, flashcards new, no full mock sat yet. Keep going — the tutor and library are your home for now.

72%Getting there

Most chapters covered, mocks around the pass mark. Two or three syllabus areas are holding you back — go fix those.

93%Exam ready

Full coverage, strong flashcard mastery, repeated mock passes well above 50%. Book the exam.

Built around exam day, not just study time

Every part of the platform points toward one outcome — walking into your FIA computer-based exam having already sat something that looks and feels exactly like it.

Built for the real FIA CBE

Mock exams reproduce the on-demand computer-based exam: 50 objective-test questions in 120 minutes, MCQ, multiple response and number entry, marked against the 50% pass mark.

A tutor for every question

Ask about any topic in any of the seven Foundation in Accountancy subjects and get an explanation pitched to your certificate level, with worked examples in the style your exam expects.

One number to chase: readiness

Flashcard mastery, question bank accuracy and mock exam scores roll up into a single readiness score per subject, so you know exactly how close you are to 90%.

First-attempt passes

Why students pass first time here

No wasted study time

You never re-read chapters you already know. Time goes where the data says marks are being lost.

Zero format shock

You've already clicked through 50-question, 120-minute CBE papers before the real one.

Grounded in your study text

Answers, cards and questions come from the FIA material in your library, not invented content.

Proof, not optimism

Repeated mock passes above the 50% mark, tracked over time, are what push readiness past 90%.

The mock exams felt exactly like the real thing — by the time I sat FFA, the format wasn't a surprise, just the questions.

Common questions

What exactly is Foundation in Accountancy for ACCA?
It is ACCA's entry-level suite of qualifications for people starting in accounting and finance. It runs across three stages — the Introductory Certificate (FA1, MA1), the Intermediate Certificate (FA2, MA2) and the Diploma in Accounting and Business (BT, FMA, FFA) — and leads straight into the main ACCA Qualification.
Which subjects does this website support?
All seven: FA1 Recording Financial Transactions, FA2 Maintaining Financial Records, MA1 Management Information, MA2 Managing Costs and Finance, BT Business and Technology, FMA Management Accounting and FFA Financial Accounting.
What do the exams look like?
Foundation in Accountancy exams are on-demand computer-based exams: 50 objective test questions in 120 minutes, with a 50% pass mark. Every mock exam here is built to that same specification.
How is my readiness score calculated?
It combines flashcard mastery, question bank accuracy and mock exam performance per subject, weighted by how much of the syllabus you've actually covered — so it can't be inflated by drilling one easy chapter.
Is this website affiliated with ACCA?
No. This is an independent study and exam-support platform for Foundation in Accountancy students. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or a substitute for registration with ACCA.
